Queen's Award for Enterprise 

Concateno UK received the Queen's award for Enterprise in 2010 for our innovative oral fluid mobile drugs detection system, the Cozart® DDS®.  

Concateno Cardiff was awarded the The Queen's Award in  2008 for Innovation and Enterprise.

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the highest honour that can be bestowed upon a business and is the UK’s top award for business performance. Awards are made by Her Majesty the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister and his advisory committee, comprised industry leaders and government representatives. It is awarded for special contributions towards innovation and commercial success. 

Her Majesty the Queen has conferred her Award in 2008 to Concateno’s Cardiff laboratory in recognition of its outstanding achievements in the continuous innovation of detecting drugs in biological samples.

The Wales Quality Centre Innovation Award

Concateno Cardiff was the awarded the Wales Quality Centre Innovation Award in 2009. Jenny Willott, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, said regarding the Wales Quality Center's Innovation Award:

“This is fantastic news. Concateno TrichoTech have an outstanding record of innovation and thoroughly deserve this award. In particular, their cutting-edge drug testing techniques have proved invaluable in tackling crime and helping to drive down drug addiction. This award helps to put Cardiff on the map as a centre of research and development and the beating heart of a growing Welsh high tech sector.”
