New Product Alert - The Alere™ DDS^®2 Mobile Test System

Concateno’s research and development laboratories began a design specification for a new drug testing system in 2009.  The result is a product which distils Concateno’s expertise in lateral flow technology with cutting edge engineering to meet the high performance demands of law enforcement agencies, drug treatment centres and workplace environments.

The Alere™ DDS^®2 Mobile Test System is a portable system designed for rapid detection of drugs of abuse in oral fluid. It is a drug testing solution which combines speed, ease of use and reliability.

Concateno Certus^® oral fluid Collection device

The Concateno Certus^® device is an evolution of the Cozart^® Oral Swab and has been CE marked under the Medical Device Directive.  The design has been updated to make it easier to handle and it will continue to provide you with a rapid and simple way to collect an oral fluid sample from the donor. We have received great feedback from the sites that helped us with the initial trials, so are pleased to be able to offer you this new device.

DDS Urine System (DDSU)

This is a handheld reader for screening urine samples, similar to our original Cozart DDS reader for oral fluid samples. Benzene Biomonitoring Kit

Concateno now provides a urine testing laboratory service and onboard collection kit for benzene, a carcinogenic chemical released by petrochemicals. It was developed for our maritime and oil and gas customers to help them monitor their crew’s exposure to benzene. Find out more...
