Detecting Parental Substance Misuse

In care proceedings where children may be affected by parental substance misuse, family lawyers and social workers use a TrichoTest® hair analysis to profile a parent’s drug and/or alcohol use over a long term period (typically three months or more). Concateno hair tests are performed at our Cardiff laboratory which is UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 to detect over 50 drugs and metabolites in hair.
