2. Does the laboratory conduct the analysis in the UK?
All of our hair analysis is conducted at our specialist hair testing laboratory in Cardiff, where our team of Reporting Scientists and Expert Witnesses are also based. The laboratory's control over every step of the process enables us to track a sample throughout its analysis. Being able to call on UK based practitioners to validate any part of the process will ensure that delays are minimised if one of the Reporting Scientists is required for court, and ensures that you have direct consultation with a scientist based at the laboratory where the sample is analysed.

3. Do you know where the sample is at each stage of the testing process?
We believe in maintaining a strict chain of custody. We provide a professional sample collection service, which ensures samples are taken correctly and transferred direct to the laboratory. Concateno TrichoTech use tamper evident chain of custody packs, each pack is assigned a unique reference number, and samples are sealed until they reach us; all seals are checked more than once as part of our testing procedure.

4. Does the laboratory provide the range of drugs and specific detail for your case?
When it comes to hair analysis, our hair testing laboratory is one of the broadest and most in-depth testing facilities in the world. With the capability to detect over 50 drugs and metabolites currently, our research and development team are widening the range and increasing sensitivity on a regular basis. We are also very flexible and can meet your specific needs, whether this is to test for one individual drug group or if you need a panel of 9 drugs most regularly ordered drugs to be tested for. We can test for as far back as the sample length allows if you require it, and provide either a basic overview or more detailed month-by-month analysis.
