CPD Seminars & The Drugs Brief

Concateno's child protection division TrichoTech, offer free non-commercial seminars and presentations on detecting parental substance use, and how it can be used to support family law and child protection casework. We visit the offices of solicitors, barristers, judges, social services and local authorities upon request, to educate professionals involved with family law about the testing options available, and also to outline the strengths and limitations of drug and alcohol testing. Seminars usually last around an hour, for which one CPD point can be claimed.

Drug and alcohol testing can be a complicated process, which we try to simplify for our clients. It is imperative that you are armed with all the information you need to choose the best testing option for your client, each case and person is different. We are happy to visit child protection professionals and family lawyers to provide education on the use of hair testing in care proceedings and present to groups of lawyers or a single individual if required.

If you would like to arrange a seminar or presentation for either yourself or your colleagues, or if you would like to receive more information, please contact us on childprotection@concateno.com

Drugs Brief

Periodically we distribute a free newsletter produced specifically for professionals who work with children affected by parental substance use in family law and care proceedings. The newsletter contains information on drugs, questions which we are asked by lawyers and social workers working with family law and child protection casework, and case studies from our archive.

If you would like to contribute case studies, ask any questions, or sign up to receive the drugs brief (either by post or email) please let us know by calling +44 (0) 29 2054 0542 or emailing our team at childprotection@concateno.com
