Drug use impacts on many more lives than just the individual involved. It can affect families and the community, and if a crime is committed, victims of offences. The Concateno Criminal Justice Division specialises in the provision to, and the management of, large scale Government contracts for the Police and Prison services designed to break the link between drugs and crime.

Concateno supply the four primary Police and HM Prison contracts in England and Wales. These are:

  • HM Prisons Service Voluntary Drug Testing
  • HM Prisons Service Mandatory Drug Testing
  • Home Office Drug Interventions Programme on-site testing
  • Home Office Drug Interventions Programme laboratory confirmation testing

We work with HM Prison Service’s Integrated Drug Treatment Service teams to provide drug testing and blood borne virus screening.

Our on-site tests oral fluid tests are used by police at the roadside to test drivers for drugs in Australia, Italy and Croatia.
