Urine laboratory tests
Concateno’s specialist urine laboratory in Canary Wharf tests over 1000 samples a day. The easy to use collection kits make it simple to collect a sample, package it with the corresponding paperwork and send it to our laboratory.
Samples arrive at the Canary Wharf laboratory under full chain of custody. The laboratory is used by the HM Prisons Service Mandatory Drug Testing. The contract covers all prisons in England and Wales.
Concateno's Canary Wharf laboratory provides the following services:
- Fully validated laboratory methods accredited to ISO17025:2005
- Sample collection packs that follow full chain of custody requirements (security seals, tamper evident bags, barcodes)
- Screening results that are available within 24 hours
- Confirmatory testing carried out with the industry gold-standard technology, GC-MS (Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry). Results are legally admissible in court.
- Rapid Reporting of results
Concateno’s experts and in-house consultants have many years of experience in forensic toxicology specialising in:
- Certificates of analysis and witness statements
- Expert testimony providing experts for court attendance and tribunals
