Testing
Concateno’s range of drug and alcohol tests can fulfil any requirements and our team of experts are on hand to help you decide which will be the most effective for you. Introducing testing can be highly effective, not only in identifying problems but also in reinforcing the message that a company takes a misuse seriously.
There are four testing scenarios.
Pre-employment
Testing potential employees as part of the recruitment process to establish whether applicants have a history of drug or alcohol misuse.
Random
Random testing is unannounced testing of a specific proportion of employees, acting as a deterrent for all employees. Concateno’s Programme Management Team can organise the time and location of the testing, plus randomly select the employees to be tested.
For-cause / Post-incident
Testing employees due to a suspicion of drug or alcohol use or after an incident / accident to establish whether drug or alcohol use played a part in the event.
Return to work
Testing an employee that has been through treatment for drug or alcohol misuse before they return to work and as part of on-going monitoring.
