Medical Review Officers
Concateno has a Medical Review Service which provides independent and expert scrutiny of positive results under medical confidentiality, supervised by a qualified occupational medical practitioner.
Why do you need a medical review?
There are cases when legitimate medications cause a positive result, for example, because they contain prescription opiates. This can happen in both screening and confirmation tests. The medical review process protects the individual and the organisation from the risk of wrongful accusations, which can result in distress and adverse publicity.
Who uses this service?
Our service is for the benefit of companies using our testing as part of their workplace drug and alcohol policy. The Medical Review Service can be used whether or not a company has an Occupational Health Service.
