Sample Collection Network
Collecting testing samples around the world - our global network of Collecting Officers provides unrivalled coverage (including vessels and offshore locations).
We are on call around the clock, every day of the year to help organisations comply with international, local and commercial requirements for controlling the use of alcohol and drugs. In 2010 we collected over 20,000 samples of urine, hair and oral fluid across 83 countries including 650 locations in the UK. Our specialist personnel are trained to collect specimens for evidence of drug and alcohol, which will stand up to a court of law. All collections are managed centrally at our UK offices.
Our collection services include
- Drug and alcohol testing emergency call out services for UK companies who need to test personnel after incidents. Our collectors are ready to respond within two hours (our average response time is currently 1 hr 14 minutes)
- Specialist hair collection services for UK Child Protection cases managed by solicitors and social workers
- Routine collections and testing worldwide
- Random, unannounced collections and testing worldwide
As an impartial third party, Concateno reduces the sensitivity associated with random drug screening – we deal in numbers, not names, but provide appropriate records to demonstrate the selection process. Where customers have to meet drug testing targets which may be audited by a contractor, Concateno can reduce the pressure by taking the responsibility for scheduling collections. We provide Certificates of Participation and Completion for both random and requested programmes for customers where relevant.
