Concateno provides a range of tailored training programmes for our services, as well as education programmes on drug and alcohol awareness.

Why do you need training and education?

A good knowledge of drug and alcohol use and testing methods will be beneficial for you and your colleagues to fully understand the testing you are utilising. Whether it is ordering the right test, performing sample collection or understanding the results, a good foundation of training will ensure you get the answers you need. We work with our customers to create a bespoke training package that suits their requirements. 

Concateno training programmes

We aim to promote best practice for testing, for the benefit of both our customers and the individual being tested. Our toxicologists, in partnership with our customers and our training providers, bring a unique depth of knowledge to the training we offer. The training is designed to optimise the use of the chosen test method and increase the understanding of the process. Topics such as the importance of quality control are included, and special attention is paid to the significance of the results obtained. Our training programmes are fully documented, regularly reviewed and include an assessment of the effectiveness of the training.

Concateno drug awareness training

Concateno’s drug awareness training programme provides an understanding and recognition of the indicators of drug and alcohol use and abuse. The content of the awareness training is tailored to the audience, including managers, staff representatives and others who have a responsibility associated with their company's drug and alcohol policy. The courses cover the sensible use of alcohol, the side effects of medicines and the harmful effects of illegal drugs.
